Pool & Gardens
The pool is located on the north side of the property facing the western sky. It is set within a walled courtyard and, although private, is shared by all three properties. The sparkling blue water contrasts with the mellow stone of the terrace and surrounding walls; and there is plenty of space to relax and sunbathe. The area is equipped with numerous deck chairs, sun loungers and large colourful umbrellas to protect you from the heat of the Charente sun. The long Summer evenings are a joy to behold with glorious vivid sunsets. The swimming pool is fitted with a safety alarm in accordance with French law.
In 2006 the gardens were very much abandoned. It has taken us until now to achieve the feeling of tranquillity, relaxation and contemplation. Indeed we still have much to accomplish but we have managed to create three different areas, reflecting the natural different levels of the garden with herbs, shrubs, trees and foliage that change at all the different times of the day and night, enhanced by the subtle lighting which prolong the pleasant moments spent during your holiday.
